Choosing a uPVC Profile by Budget

How should budget factor into your profile choice? Here's an honest framework.

Our profile options and where they sit

We fabricate with four branded profiles — Gemplast, Crown, Baydee, and Eiti. They sit at different price points, and that's the honest reason to choose between them. Gemplast is where we start for budget-conscious jobs; Crown and Baydee sit in the middle; Eiti is our premium pick.

What this means for you

Look for this

  • Gemplast — our value starting point
  • Crown and Baydee — the middle ground
  • Eiti — our premium pick
  • All four are branded, reinforced systems
  • We match the profile to your budget and job

Price ladder, not a quality ladder

An important distinction: this is a price ladder, not a quality ladder. All four are quality branded systems with multi-chambered sections and steel reinforcement where the span needs it — none of them is junk, and none is the unbranded profile we'd warn you away from. Which one is 'best' still depends on your job, not on the price.

What we'd suggest

Tell us what you're working with and we'll be straight about what fits. A Gemplast window built and fitted properly will serve you well — we'd rather do that than push you to a profile you don't need or watch you buy unbranded rubbish elsewhere.

Questions

Frequently asked

Should I choose a uPVC profile by budget?

It's a legitimate way to choose — Gemplast at the value end, Crown and Baydee in the middle, Eiti at the premium end. All four are branded, reinforced systems, so budget is an honest basis for the decision.

Am I compromising by choosing on price?

Not within a branded range — you'd be compromising by going unbranded, which we don't do at all. Between our four, price is a fair way to decide.

What else should factor in?

The job itself — spans, finishes, and reinforcement needs. We'll match it with you.
